Group Ketamine-Assisted Therapy

Group experiences can be powerful reminders of what we all have in common as humans and the group can provide a level of support that is unique and enduring. With this offering, we are working to build and connect a supportive community for healing and growth, as well as making psychedelic services more affordable.

Ketamine therapy groups are small, from 5-10 participants, and treatment includes one hour of preparation the week of the session and 90 minutes of integration therapy in the days afterward. Unless otherwise specified, group sessions are exclusively open to clients who have completed one or more sessions of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy at Asheville Integrative Psychiatry.

Benefits of Group Ketamine-Assisted Therapy

  • Lower cost than individual therapy

  • Moving out of our default mode network in the brain and gaining new perspective and nervous system regulation

  • Creating and regenerating new neural pathways in the brain to help change thoughts and behaviors

  • Improving balance between mind, body, and spirit

  • Enhancing overall well-being and gaining insight regarding self and community
