Dr. Kathleen Dine, Psy.D
Dr. Kathleen Dine is a licensed clinical psychologist with 30 yrs of experience. She is committed to training in the best tools to treat trauma in a holistic way. Kathleen has worked in a variety of settings including group practice, a college counseling center and community mental health. Since beginning her private practice in 2009, she has treated children, teens, adults and families. Kathleen is now focused on providing KAP, trauma intensives and consultation to individual clients in her Black Mountain office. Being licensed in multiple states, she also has a strong teletherapy practice focused on IFS, KAP and psychedelic integration. Born in rural Ohio, Kathleen moved to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in 2023 after living in Southern Indiana/Louisville KY for most of her life. Tandy Wells, LCMHC-A (he/him)
Tandy Wells is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a passion for supporting survivors of trauma and individuals navigating addiction. With a master’s degree from Western Carolina University and a BA in Psychology from NC State, Tandy has honed his expertise in psychedelic-assisted therapy and its implications for addiction treatment. Tandy’s approach to healing emphasizes repairing disconnection with nature, the body, and the present moment through mindfulness, self-compassion, and radical acceptance.
When not in session, Tandy embraces life in the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife and daughter. He enjoys hiking, foraging for edible mushrooms (maitakes are his favorite), mountain biking, snowboarding, practicing yoga, and playing the banjo. Combining his love for nature and his therapeutic skills, Tandy brings a grounded, holistic perspective to his work, helping clients cultivate mindfulness and self-acceptance while navigating complex emotions and trauma.
